Additional Information
The Boon Rawd Brewery was founded in 1933 Bangkok, Thailand, and is part of the Singha Corporation Co. Ltd. Singha (correctly pronounced as Sing, but commonly pronounced Sing-ha). Singha entered the UK market in 1979 in Thai restaurants, but has only been available in the UK supermarkets since April 2010.
Some of the Brewery's Range
Singha - First brewed in 1933.
Singha Light - Launched in 2006.
Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
Below are some notes to help identify some of these changes and an aid to reference the year of the glass.
