Additional Information

The Hürlimann Brewery is a former brewery in Zurich, Switzerland, it was founded in 1836 by Albert Hürlimann, and its management was in the same family for five generations. Hürlimann merged with Feldschlösschen in 1996 to form Feldschlösschen-Hürlimann-Gruppe, it was then sold to Carlsberg in November 2000. In the UK Hürlimann is brewed by Shepherd Neame to its original recipe.
Some of the Brewery's Range
Hürlimann Alp Swiss Lager -
Hürlimann Sternbräu (Star Beer) -
Hürlimann Hexenbräu (Witch Beer) -
Hürlimann Sternbräu Export Bier -
Hürlimann Five Star -
Hürlimann CELTA - Launched in 1970 It was developed by Les Brasseurs de Gayant following the signing of an exclusive contract with the Hurlimann Brewery in Zurich for the marketing of CELTA alcohol-free beer in France.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.

Below are some notes to help identify some of these changes and an aid to reference the year of the glass.
