Spain - Breweries

The La Sagra brewery was founded by Carlos Garcia in 2011 in Toledo, close to Madrid, Spain. The Brewery was bought out by Coors in 2017.
Madri Excepcional is a collaboration between Molson Coors in the UK and La Sagra Brewery. It is brewed in Yorkshire and also brewed in Canada by Molson Coors for the Canadian market.
In 2022 Madri had a serious marketing push and became the 16th biggest draught beer brand in british pubs.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
