The Drygate brewery is the experimental subsidiary microbrewery of Tennent's that started brewing in 2014. It is located in the left hand corner of the Wellpark brewery site in Glasgow. The brewery takes it name from the original name of the Wellpark brewery when it was founded by H & R Tennent in 1740 at Drygate Bridge, near Glasgow Cathedral.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
