The Madeira Brewery (Empresa de Cervejas da Madeira or E.C.M) is a brewery in Madeira, Portugal.
It was founded in 1872 as H.P Miles & Cia and Araujo Tavares e Passos in 1922. In 1934 both merge into one company called Empresa de Cervejas da Madeira. Since 1969 the main flagship brand has been Coral Lager.
It has been part of the Pestana Group since 1999.

Coral Sem Alcool Branca - A non-alcoholic Lager launched in 2003

Zarco (Lager) -
Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
