The Ringnes Brewery was founded in 1877 in Oslo, by brothers Amund and Ellef Ringnes. It remained a family owned business until 1978. Today Ringnes is the largest brewer in Norway and is now part of the Carlsberg Group.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
