Germany - Breweries

The Gambrinus Brauerei was a former brewery in Nagold, Swabia Germany. It was founded in 1870 as a house brewery and passed into the ownership of the Burkhardt family after the Second World War, from which it was run for four generations. Until about 1980, the brewery only sold its beer in Baden-Württemberg. The Brewery closed in 1993 when a relief road was built in the Nagold city centre to calm traffic.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
