The Facon Brewery (Brasserie Facon) was established in 1914 at Pont-de-Briques.
In 1987 the brewery was purchased by Brasseries de St Omer. Then in 1995 the breweries Facon and Semeuse (in Lille) merge with Saint-Omer and are united under the same umbrella, taking the name of GSA Brasseries.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
