The Swale Brewery Company was established in 1995 in Milton Regis, Kent.
In 1997 it moved to the D2 Trading Estate on the Eurolink in Sittingbourne, Kent.
In 2000 the brewery moved to Newnham, Kent and changed name to the Tun, Vine & Press.
In 2001 the brewery moved to Grafty Green, Kent and ceased brewing in 2003.
In 2003 a new company was formed when the brewery was sold to the Green Family. See The Whitstable Brewery Company.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
