Additional Information
Steamin' Billy Brewing Co.Ltd was founded in 1996 in Leicester.
The beer was originally brewed in the old washhouse and coal store at the back of the Bentley Brook Inn, Fenny Bentley, but as sales outgrew the brewery a decision was made to contract out production.
This was initially undertaken by local brewery, The Grainstore in Oakham.
Then in 2004 brewing moved to the Victorian Tower Brewery in the old Thomas Salt Maltings in Burton.
At the moment Steamin Billy beers are brewed under licence at the Belvoir Brewery in Old Dalby, Leicester.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
Below are some notes to help identify some of these changes and an aid to reference the year of the glass.
