Additional Information
Sadler's was originally a family business that began in Oldbury in 1861.
Brewing later took place behind the Windsor Castle pub in Lye before being moved to a new brewery. Liverpool based drinks manufacturer and distributor Halewood International bought a majority stake in Sadler's in 2017. In January 2020 the brewery was closed, with production of the Sadlers range transferring to the Hawkshead Brewery in Cumbria."

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
Below are some notes to help identify some of these changes and an aid to reference the year of the glass.
