Elephant School Brewing is an offspring of the Brentwood brewery, it is named after the Elephant School that was part of the army barrack for the Essex regiment. The school was run by the British East India Trading Company and they trained people to ride Elephant before going out to India. They brew beers that are not along the traditional lines.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
