The Cumberland Brewery was established in 2008 at Geat Corby, Cumbria, in what was the village blacksmiths. The arch of the building depicted on the pump clip and logo dates back to 1833 and is part of the Corby Castle Estate. In 2013 the brewery expanded and took over the Station Works Brewery in Newry, Northern Ireland.
In 2015 both breweries were sold to USA Irishman Pearse Lyons and are now part of the Alltech group. The brewery is now know as "Great Corby"
