Additional Information

The Riva Brewery is a former Belgian brewery in the West-Flemish town of Dentergem. It was very successful and was exported to the United States, among others.
The Riva Brewery took over the Liefmans Brewery in 1990, but was in turn taken over in 2002. The new owners decided to name the entire brewery Liefmans, so that from then on Dentergems was brewed by the Liefmans brewery.
In 2007 the Liefmans brewery was declared bankrupt and the production of Dentergems ceased. In 2008 Duvel Moortgat took over the bankrupt Liefmans brewery, but production of Dentergems Witbier was not restarted.
In 2011 Brouwerij Het Anker took over the Dentergems brand from Duvel and started production again for the American market. Brewing the Dentegems brand came to a stop in 2017.
Some of the Brewery's Range
Vondel - First brewed circa early 1990s, Retired in 2007
Dentergems Wit bier - First brewed in 1985.
Dentergems Riva Blanche - As above, sold as Riva Blanche in French-speaking regions.
Dentergems Wit - As above, sold as Dentergems Wit for US export from 2011 to 2017

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.

Below are some notes to help identify some of these changes and an aid to reference the year of the glass.
