Belgium - Breweries

Founded in 1982 by two brothers-in-law, Pierre Gobron and Christian Bauweraerts, as a hobby. Brewery Achouffe is nestled in the green heart of the Belgian Ardennes and specializes in brewing high quality speciality beers. Brewery Achouffe products are easily recognizable by the friendly elf used to decorate the labels. Elves, Gnomes and other Goblins are among the most well known characters in myths and legends from the Ardennes, and they will lead you to a great beer! In September 2006, the brewery was bought by the brewery group Duvel Moortgat.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
