The Aerts Brewery was a established in 1897 at St Josse Ten Noode, Belgium. In 1980 is was taken over by The Palm Group and closed in 1981.
The Brewery was know as :-
Brasserie Joseph Aert from 1897 to 1925
Brasserie J.Aerts & Fils form 1925 to 1940
Brasserie St Josse J.Aerts & Fils from 1940 to 1966
Brasserie Aerts from 1966 to 1980

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
